LOVE@NITE: RESIDENT PARTICIPATION & CONTRIBUTIONS
Please save the date for LOVE@Nite!
Thursday, September 3
7:00 PM – 10:00 PM
The LOVE Building
LOVE@Nite is an opportunity for each resident to bring their Solo Conquest to life. This public-facing evening will honor the history and legacy of The LOVE Building while giving guests a chance to directly experience the work being developed by our residents.
The evening will thematically represent the past (Manila Bay Cafe), present (The LOVE Building), and future (CONTAINER) of our space. Unlike the Pitch Convening, LOVE@Nite is designed to be more performance-based, experiential, and accessible to the public, allowing guests to directly engage with your individual work through performances, exhibitions, activations, demonstrations, food, or other creative experiences.
WHAT WE’RE ASKING
Each resident is invited to prepare one contribution: a piece, dish, item, performance, activation, or other offering that reflects their practice and can be shared with guests during the evening.
Fashion & Visual Art: Display 1-2 works for exhibition and, if desired, make these pieces available for sale.
Music: Perform 1–2 pieces/tracks during the event. Tracks only.
Food: Prepare 1 item representing your practice to be sold during the event.
COMPENSATION
Each resident will receive $100 for their participation in LOVE@Nite, in addition to any income generated from approved sales of artwork, clothing, food, or other offerings.
THE BIGGER PICTURE
We will invite supporters, funders, and community members to experience the fullness of the evening and, importantly, to discover and support your individual Solo Conquest.
LOVE@Nite is not simply an event; it is an opportunity to share your work, connect with the public, and create pathways for future support.
